Attraversiamo in Italian means 'Let's cross over'. You can cross over a river or an ocean. For us, attraversiamo means to cross over barriers and to get a greater understanding of the Italian culture by learning the Italian language.
We believe in creating meaningful experiences for each student and simplifying the learning process through personalization.

About Us
My name is Karin.
In 1999 I went to Florence on a language course and it was love at first sight. Since then, Italy and the Italian language have been a big part of my life.
I am a licensed high school teacher in Italian and have also taught Italian courses for adults.I have several years of experience in language teaching. I have dedicated moore than 20 years to the Italian language and contemporanean Italian culture.
I have studied Italian and French at the University of Växjö and the University of Lund in Sweden. Whithin the ERASMUS+ exchange program I studied Italian at the Univerisità degli studi di Parma.
Languages have been an important part of my life, growing up with a Swedish mother and a Polish-Austrian father. Every summer we went on holiday to Europe and the music that we listened to in the car was mostly in French and Italian. I will always remember when we went to Switzerland and visited the UN office in Geneva, where my father used to work back in the days. Observing people from all over the world and hearing them speak in different languages hade a huge impact on me. I guess that was the time when my passion for different cultures and languages really kicked in.
